Eye of the Tiger

     I have always loved Tigers and consider them to be like my spirit animal. I ran across this picture in an article that stated 50 facts about tigers and I learned many interesting things about them. The eyes in this picture moved me because eyes are seen as windows into the soul and the eyes of a tiger can show many emotions whether it be fierce protection for their young, courage to stand up for itself, or the eyes of a hunter.
     In the article, there are many different interesting facts such as tigers can see colors like humans and they have round pupils unlike domestic cats so they primarily hunt in the morning and evening. The stripes of a tiger are unique to each tiger much like human fingerprints and since they cannot purr; they squint or close their eyes because losing vision is a sign of vulnerability and trust. I extremely enjoyed this article even if it was simply facts about tigers but it's worth reading anyway.
